More good news from NBA as our #25 Al Jefferson is named West player of the week. During last week he averaged 28.8 points and 12.8 rebounds in 4 games, against teams that are Playoff contenders. First he had 21 and 12 in win against Warriors, than he dominated Amare Stoudemire with 39 and 15 in another win for Wolves, consecutive wins for the first in season. Then a slightly worser game in Boston with 15points and 5 rebounds, but it has been tough to play against KG and Perkins, as well as against triple teams that they played against him... Finaly yesterday, against Nets', he had career high 40 points and 19 rebounds(8 offensive). He dominated them on both sides of court and actually beat them all by himself.
We can only hope this form continues and that he will bring us even more wins in weeks to come. First two games will be against Ben Wallace so it will be very interesting to watch.
Has someone said he is not a franchise player? I'll just laugh on that thought... And who said Bynum>>Jefferson? lol :D Hopefully we will bring him some big man in the offseason with whitch he could complement his game and destroy every team in the league in rebounding...
