Minnesota 117, Phoenix 107

Two in a row you say? That hasn't happened to us for a long time... So we finished first half of the season with consecutive wins and 7-34 overall. For me it's a descent record, since we played all the games without the proper center. Surely we can play against teams that don't have good centers too and we are really good in those games. I'm desperately waiting for Ratliff to return from injury, really want to see how good will we be then...
A few words about the game: Suns started strongly with 16-6 lead after 5mins but after timeout by Wittman things changed upside down. Al started to dominate the glass and we found ourselves ahead of them in a few minutes. In second quarter our reserves came up big. Brewer finaly found his touch with 10 pionts in 1st half and Antoine with 7 pts. At the half we were ahead by 15, 65-50. In second half we kept our lead quite easily. They never got closer than 12 and we were totally in control of game. Hitting open shots and converting their mistakes in points. Like a really experienced team. Final quarter was pretty easy too (their poor defense did a lot of work for us) and Al managed to get to his new career high - 39 points. Clear and deserved win, at the end... Makes us very proud. :D
I really have to praise all of our players but especially Big Al with 39+15 and Marko which was once again 2 rebs shy of triple-double. Brewer contributed great as well. 13pts of the bench with 6-11 shooting. You don't see that very often... Hope he keeps this pace. We absolutely outrebounded them, with 22 offensive rebounds and 48 overall compared to their 26 overall. Only thing that bothers me is that we again played with 8 guys. Marko has played 46minutes for second consecutive game. Hope this will change once Foye returns.
Next game is @Boston. Maybe the hardest game that we could have, but what the hell, we are young and we are playing great basketball at the moment, we have every right to hope we can upset them. Then again, it's again game agains our legend KG, so it will be full of emotions and I can't wait to watch this game. :D
