Pre-Draft Loterry

Regular season has ended in a nice fashion for the Timberwolves. Not much by results, but Foye started to play as we want him to, and all other young players showed that we allready have some core to build around. There has been one nice win against Orlando, as well as againt Bucks at home to close the season with the win. But let's turn to what is ahead of us, one of the worst seasons in franchise history has ended, and we should focus to upgrading our team in draft.
In 15 days, the draft lottery will be held in New Jersey and as we finished tied for the third worst record in league (won coin flip against Grizzlies), here are our chances of getting one of top6 picks:
Pick: Pick Odds:
Pick #1: 13.800000%
Pick #2: 14.244135%
Pick #3: 14.538395%
Pick #4: 23.824875%
Pick #5: 29.047518%
Pick #6: 4.545077%
As you can see, we can hardly drop out of top4 but it's not probable for us to get top2 pick. But there is still hope that we can get that lucky for not tanking an single game and draft Rose or Beasley.

Let's look at some top prospects that we could draft with 1st round pick. Top2 are reserved for Rose and Beasley. Beasley is a great prospect but after the games on NCAA tournament by Rose, I think he's most probable to be selected 1st overall. Next two prospects are Mayo and Brook Lopez. Mayo is far bigger prospect but as we are in need of a big men, I wouldn't be suprised if we end with Brook. I'm not a big fan of him, and I think he isn't worth wasting evan a top7-8 pick. Two other players that I guess we could draft this high are Jordan and Gallinari. Jordan could become dominant big man in the future but he needs to work a lot on his game, we probably wouldn't get anything from him in first two or tree seasons but he is maybe the most athletic guy on this year's draft. Gallinari is a guy from Italy, they announce him as a European LeBron, but if Bargnani is European version of Dirk(pretty stupid because Dirk is European too) then I have nothing to say... I would pass on him even 'till about ~10th pick. McHale has been in Italy, he watched some games of him, let's hope he's done with him.
There's not much to say about our draft this year. Let's hope we finish with top2 pick and have a no-brainer rather than having to worry if we'll pick someone who will be marked as a bust...
